About 40 folks had a fun time at our second annual Hoedown for the Hungry on Sept. 7, 2020. The event raised $204 (with more to come) and 140 lbs of food for the Leduc & District Food Bank.
A big thank-you to our sponsors, Leduc Co-op, Water & Ice Co., and McDonalds for items donated for the enjoyment of our dancers.
The event had a good lead-in write-up in the Leduc Representative, and a reporter came to take photos for a followup story.
We hope to enlist the support of a co-sponsor, such as service club or local business, to boost promotion and community impact so that we can do an even better job of fund-raising.
